Team work makes the dream work! Rally is a team sport in which you and your pup will navigate a course, side-by-side, steering through a sets of instructional signs to reach the finish line. In this introductory course, teams will learn the basics of AKC Rally as well as all the signs found in novice and intermediate courses. We will break down how to teach each sign skill and how to put them together into a novice course. At the end, pups will have the option to practice a run through an official novice level virtual course.

Take a look at our frequently asked questions for more information about Rally.
Do I attend class with my dog?
Yes! Classes are in person, so you should plan for someone to attend with your pup.
Can multiple handlers attend class?
I'd like for my child to attend as the dog's handler. Is that okay?
As much as we love the idea of the whole family being involved with your pup’s training, all handlers in class MUST be over the age of 18.
What happens if I miss one or more classes?
Unfortunately, because this is a progressive class, missed classes cannot be made up or credited.
What vaccines does my dog need for class?
My dog is sick with ____. Can they still join classes?
Is this a drop in class like Levels?
No, this is class runs for six consecutive weeks.
I took class elsewhere. Can I sign up for Rally?
Because our classes have a set graduation criteria, all pups must attend at least one session of Level 1 and Level 2 at The Pet Republic in order to join this class. If your pup is able to complete the six skills and receive their stamp, you are welcome to use the remainder of your package towards another class!
My dog has bitten another dog and/or person. Is this class right for them?
Unfortunately, pups who have a bite history are not a good fit for this class. Please contact the office for more detailed information on your options.
My dog is highly reactive or fearful. Will they be alright to attend class?
The dogs in this class will be social but overaroused when in the presence of other dogs or people. As such, if you have a reactive or fearful dog, it is not likely to be a good fit. However, feel free to check in with the office or schedule a phone consult to discuss further!
